For combining information technologies with management knowledge, our curriculum design especially emphasizes the active role of information technologies in business decision making. The principles of our curriculum design possess the abilities to follow the trends in technology and practically apply to them to local enterprises.

Electronic business, multimedia and Information systems development are three major directions in our courses.

 

 

Learning facilities

      There are more than 14 professional computer laboratories in our department, including Microsoft MCSE Lab., Cisco CCNA Lab., Multimedia Lab., Electronic Commerce Lab., Enterprise e-business Consulting Center, CAI & Distance Learning Lab., Senior Project Lab., and Exam Center for Hardware Assembling & Repairing. These computer laboratories are all equipped with the newest facilities for learning.

 

 

Living service

 

      Our department is located in a new building. Classrooms, laboratories and the student’s dorm all have air conditioners and are networked to Internet. Besides, there are convenience shops, a book store, restaurants, and an open-air café.

 

 

Required courses

 

      Technology English, Programming Languages, Information Networks, System Development Projects, Database Management Systems, Information Management Cases and the Introduction to Management Science.

       Our graduates are prepared to enter the workforce as digital content designers, information system administrators, e-business planners, programmers, system analysis and planners, digital media producers, multimedia designers and other related work.
