Department of Electrical Engineering

Direction of education and research fields

Our curriculum is based on the principle of combining theories and practical techniques in order to foster well-trained technicians and engineers that specialized in electric power and control, network communication and semiconductor devices. In addition, there are 12 laboratories established to help students develop these abilities in the various fields.

Faculty

The department takes pride in our teaching staff. All of our teachers hold doctoral or master’s degrees, as well as, holding at least one professional certificate of skill testing in their respective fields. Currently, there are 3 professors, 8 associate professors, 3 assistant professors, and 15 instructors. Furthermore, there are 7 instructors who are pursuing their doctoral degrees in their respective fields.

Skill testing

The department aids students in accomplishing their Level B and C certificates of skill testing in a verity of fields.  The professional certificates obtained by our students are approved by Council of Labor Affairs, Executive Yuan Taiwan R.O.C.etc.
