Department of
computer science and Information Engineering

The Department was established in 2002. It devoted to technique and academic education in the area of computer science.
The Department offers undergraduate programs. The aim of these programs is to twain students in the most sophisticated aspects of modern computer and information technology, in order to meet the growing needs of our society, and to provide continuing education for scientists, educators and engineers, keeping them abreast of recent developments in the rapidly changing field of computer science and information engineering.
The freshman and sophomore year curriculum concentrates on basic cowries in physics and mathematics along with the cowries steering the fundamentals of computer hardware and software system, such as digit logic design, object-oriented programming language, hardware description language, data structure.
Juniors and senior may select more advanced courses, including the area of VLSI design, semi-conductor device physics, computer organization, network communication algorithms, image processing, operating system.
The students have to participate in at least one project to aid them in developing high information technology.
These projects wile be divided into some groups:
|
software engineering.
|
system analysis and design.
|
computational algorithms and scientific computing.
|
computer network communication.
|
parallel and distributed processing.
|
system simulation. |
The total number of students enrolled in the Department during the current academic year in 134.
