Department of Chemical Engineering

Department Overview
Welcome to the Department of Chemical Engineering of the WuFeng Institute of Technology. This department was established for the five-year program of junior college in 1972, and the bachelor-degree program of undergraduate was firstly introduced in 2002. Nowadays, in addition to the bachelor-degree program, the Department of Chemical Engineering provides only two-year program of junior college. There are two major developing features for the Department of Chemical Engineering in the undergraduate school, one is the materials science, and the other is the bioscience.
For accomplishing your career-planning, we deeply invite you to join the Department of Chemical Engineering.
Objectives
In keep pace with the new development of technologies, the major objective of the Department of Chemical Engineering is to foster undergraduate students possessing of technical knowledge about chemical engineering, bioscience, materials science and information technologies. Certainly, the knowledge about economics, management, safety and environmental protection was also provided to the students. Except the theoretical courses, the students are encouraged to hold the certificate after skill testing. The graduates from the Department of Chemical Engineering possessing of both theoretical and practical bases of chemical engineering are anticipated.
