Introduction
The primary objectives of this college are to cultivate students with
both theoretical and practical skills, humanities, social responsibilities, and
international aspects. In order to produce well-trained graduates for the
country,this college focuses on the most important industry area, offers the corresponding academic programs to raise high-tech engineers,
and is striving to promote strategic alliance with the industry.
The college consisted of one graduate school: OptoMechatronics and
Materials; and five departments: Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Chemical Engineering, and
Computer Science & Information Engineering. The five departments
have 4-year, 2-year, and 5-year (Electronic Engineering only) programs.
They also have daytime, evening, and weekend programs. This college
has well qualified faculty members, approximately 57 % of them hold
doctoral degrees in the areas of their specialties, and almost all faculty
members hold one or more professional certificates or licences. To meet
the demands of our teaching and research, there are complete instruments
and facilities in the departments and the graduate school.
